How It Works

How Custom Shadow Boards Move From Idea to Installed Standard

You do not need to arrive with a finished specification. We help you define the tools, workflow, environment, users, and visual requirements needed to move the project forward.

The Process

From conversation to installed standard.

Every step is designed to keep you informed and in control of the design.

  1. 1

Define the problem and project scope

Share photos, tool information, dimensions, sketches, existing standards, and the challenge your team is trying to solve. We clarify the work area, users, environment, goals, and decision process. For a complex or multi-site challenge, we may recommend beginning with an operational assessment before defining the physical solution.

  2. 2

Build the design with operational input

We create the layout around the actual tools, access, use sequence, visual logic, branding, materials, holders, and installation requirements. Operators and supervisors review the design where their input affects fit and adoption.

  3. 3

    Review and approve the mockup

Your team reviews the design and requests revisions before approval. Design collaboration and custom mockups are included. This stage confirms both the visual layout and the practical details that affect use.

  4. 4

    Fabricate and prepare for installation

After artwork approval and order authorization, the project moves into production. The completed system is prepared for the agreed installation approach with applicable hardware and project information.

  5. 5

Install, hand off, and maintain the standard

The support level depends on the project. A defined product may be delivered ready for your team to install. Larger projects can include guided or on-site installation, supervisor handoff, leadership briefing, ownership, and sustainment planning.

Production timing: Production timing is confirmed with each quote and begins after final approval and payment requirements are completed. We do not promise an exact turnaround time until it is confirmed with your specific quote.

Preferred location and mounting approach
Material, washdown, food-contact, magnetic, traffic, or exposure requirements
Branding, department, zone, label, and color standards
Target timing, locations, and rollout scope

Start with what you know.
