About
Custom Shadow Boards Designed by People Who Understand the Work
Lean 5S Products helps industrial teams turn tools, workflows, and frontline knowledge into clear point-of-use systems employees can use every day.
Our Story
Woman-owned, led by practical expertise.
Lean 5S Products is a woman-owned company led by Sonya Wilt, a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with more than 10 years of 5S implementation and visual-management experience.
The business was acquired and relocated from Carson, California, to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in 2024. We serve manufacturing and industrial facilities throughout North America.
Our team's approach is practical: visual management must fit real work. We listen before we recommend, design around your actual tools and workflow, and support you throughout the design process.
Mission
"To help industrial teams create workspaces where standards are clear, tools are ready, and improvement is easier to sustain."

What We Believe
The principles behind every design.
"Customization is non-negotiable."
A board that does not match your actual tools and workflow will eventually be worked around. Every solution is designed around your real work.
"The system has to survive real work."
Visual management lives on the production floor, not in a display case. We recommend materials and configurations built for your operating environment.
"Visual management is culture, not decoration."
The goal is a standard employees can understand and sustain—not a board that looks good for a week. We design for daily, real-world use.
"Customers should not have to figure it out alone."
We provide consultative support throughout the design process, from material recommendations to layout and revisions.
Our Approach
We build visual management solutions around the way your team actually works.
We do more than fabricate boards. We help industrial teams create visual standards that make the right action obvious, make missing items immediately visible, reduce dependence on employee memory, and make workplace standards easier to sustain.
